Commissioner Billie Dean suggested a new possibility; the Connelly House property.There have been other suggestions as to the best place to build the Splash Pad.  In the past, Commissioner Dean insisted it should be built where the people want it.This leads us to our Poll Question:  Where should the Apopka Splash Pad be built?  If so, where? I highly suggest the Northwest Recreation Park for several reasons. It is near the elementary and middle schools. Easy and convenient access for parents. The park already features many other activities and it seems that there is plenty of space. Plus being smashed between a main road and a lake with alligators seems like a BAD idea. Put the splash pad at Edwards Field/Kit Land.
