UK jobs at Swedish telecoms firmEricsson are under threat after the company announced plans to cut 10,000 postsworldwide.More than half the joblosses will come from outside Sweden, but the company has not revealed wherethe cuts will be enforced.Ericsson employs 1,800staff in the UK at Burgess Hill, West Sussex, and Basingstoke, Hampshire.The announcementfollows the mobile phones giant reporting a first quarter pre-tax loss of£333m, reflecting the depressed state of the telecoms market.
