first_imgDianne ChurchDianne Church, age 70, resident of Sumner County since 1972, died September 22, 2016 at her home.  Dianne worked as a USDA/Farm Loan Program Technician from October 4, 1987 to December 31, 2008.Dianne (Fuller) Church was born on June 16, 1946 in Fulton, KY to William Douglas Fuller and Mabel E. (Snyder) Fuller.She married Larry Joe Church on August 20, 1977 in Wellington.She enjoyed being a farm wife; spoiling her grandchildren; cooking for her family for holidays and harvest meals, and cooking for many, many dinners at the Church of Christ; and KU basketball.  Dianne was known for remembering dates and attention to detail.She is preceded in death by her parents; six brothers; and five sisters.Survivors include her loving husband of 39 years, 33 days, 5 hours, and 7 minutes , Joe Church of rural Wellington; one son, Thomas “Tom” Smith and his wife Donna of Spicer, MN; two daughters, Tracie Johanek and her husband Steve of Parker, Colo. and Melissa “Missi” Marshall and her husband Kerry of Athens, TX; one brother, Danny Fuller of Dighton, Kans.; one sister, Peggy Fox of Springfield, MO; six grandchildren, Kelcie Johanek, Kody Robinson, Haley Marshall, Kaleb, Jaden, and Carson Smith.Funeral Services will be held at the Wellington Church of Christ on Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. Mr. Paul Hendrickson and Mr. Michael Nelson will officiate.  Interment will follow the service at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in rural Rome, KS.Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Monday, September 26, 2016 from 1 to 8 p.m. The family will be present to greet friends from 5 to 7 p.m.Memorials have been established with the Church of Christ Kitchen Fund and Harry Hynes Hospice.  Memorial Contributions can be left or mailed to the funeral home.Frank Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.To leave condolences or sign our guest book, please visit our website at www.frankfuneralhome.netlast_img
