first_imgJust before 11pm on Saturday March 13th, the Fort St. John RCMP received a call that three males were stuck in a boat on the Peace River.The males had been stranded on a gravel bar since earlier Saturday afternoon and were exposed to the elements.  A concerned friend was able to retrieve the boaters and help them return to shore safely.No injuries were sustained and the RCMP will not be pursuing charges.- Advertisement -The RCMP want to remind the public to be aware of safe boating practices and to be prepared for an emergency situation when out on the water.last_img
