first_imgTelugu conferenceHyderabad, Nov 30 (PTI) Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao today directed officials to invite literatary personalites working for the promotion of the Telugu language as well as Telugu-speaking leaders for the World Telugu Conference to be held here from December 15.A release from the CMO said that President Ram Nath Kovind is expected to attend the valedictory function. The release further mentioned that Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu and Maharashtra Governor Ch Vidyasagar Rao would attend the inaugural function of the event.The CM has said that Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu should also be invited for the event, the release stated.The release added that Rao had suggested that literary personalities in other Indian languages should also be felicitated on the occasion.It added that the CM also wanted sports persons including Saina Nehwal, P V Sindhu and Sania Mirza to be invitated for the conference.
