This year has been a good one for Vivo. The company kicked off 2018 with its most talked about Vivo Nex S, which was one of the first phones to come with an in-display fingerprint sensor. The trend was then followed by the rest of the world. Looks like the Chinese smartphone manufacturer — Vivo — is now working on bringing the successor to the Vivo Nex S, which will reportedly be called Vivo Nex S2.The company, however, is yet to reveal official details and also the name of the Nex s successor. To recollect, last week some rumours about the Vivo’s next Nex phone had surfaced on the internet and suggested that the phone could go official very soon. In fact, some reports had revealed that the launch could happen in December this year. Ahead of the official launch, a new unboxing video of a Vivo phone with dual displays has been posted on YouTube. The phone in question is said to be the Vivo Nex S2.The YouTuber, who goes by the name Mrwhosetheboss posted the unboxing video. The video shows the Vivo phone with dual displays, which means, both the front as well as the rear panel of the handset will sport a display. This means that the design of the upcoming Vivo Nex S2 could be similar to the recently launched Nubia X which also comes with a dual screen — one of the usual front and the second one on the back.Moving on to the other bits, the YouTube video also shows that the alleged Vivo Nex S2 with triple rear cameras and also Lunar Ring which will also sit on the rear panel followed by an LED flash. In the video, the Lunar Ring looks like a colourful RGB LED ring that glows when a notification hits the phone. The video in fact also shows that the rear camera setup can also be used to click selfies by using the second display as a viewfinder. Surprisingly, the alleged Vivo Nex S2 doesn’t sport the selfie camera on the front. The Vivo Nex S was launched with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 845 chipset, this gives us reason to assume that the Nex S2 could be powered by Qualcomm’s next high-end chipset, like to be Snapdragon 8150. Other specs of the Vivo Nex S include — 6.59-inch 1080p+ AMOLED display and dual rear camera setup consisting of 12-megapixel primary sensor and a 5-megapixel secondary sensor for depth sensing. The Vivo Nex S was also one of the first phones to come with motorised pop-up selfie camera, which, atleast as far as the leaked video concerned, may not be the case for the upcoming Vivo Nex S2.
