She had left her wallet and cell phone behind.From the start, Bergman’s family was fearful about what had happened. Her parents, Chris and Kiersten learned on Wednesday, that her body was found in the desert off State Route 85 west of Phoenix.Her father said that investigators used dental records to confirm her identity. Over the last month, Bergman’s parents traveled back and forth to Phoenix, posting flyers, holding vigils and searching for any clues that might lead to her return.She was last seen at her Phoenix home after an argument with her ex-boyfriend. That man, John Clark was later arrested on unrelated charges after police said they found several stolen ID’s in his car.Clark was charged with multiple counts of theft and forgery. Her father said police have not given the family any indication that Clark might be involved in their daughter’s death.Bergman was a graduate of Valhalla High School and had moved to Phoenix earlier this year, to be with Clark. Her family is receiving many messages of love and support on social media.
